Finding that one person that I was hoping to help!! Well it happened in a way that I did not expect!! Although I am not sure what I really expected!!
I had given my first book to a friend of mine who li ves in Utah. However when I meet him he lived in Lake City, in Minnesota and was a member of the Church, I was investigating to see if it was where I wanted to go yet alone belong to. He eventually ended up moving to Utah, where he currently lives with his wife. They are some of the kindest and most humble people I have ever known, and I am proud to call them my friends and brother, and sister in Jesus Christ.
Well I had sent my friend a copy of my book "Miracle Life" and he was talking with a young man that was struggling with Addiction, and suicidal Tendencies as well. In the course of his conversations with this young man he told him about my struggles and that I had written a book that dealt with just that. So he gave the young man his copy of my book "Miracle Life" He told me that when he saw him again the young man had been clean and sober for 6 months, and that when he relayed this story to me he had just seen him again and he was still clean and sober after one year. and the young man said thank you for the book because it saved his life it showed him that there was hope, and that he could make ti too. That it was a matter of choice.
To quote myself from my second book, "On the Positive Side, the Life and Times of Chad Gorm, a Memoir to the Future" Quote, "I believe that ui can overcome any obstacle as long as you know of its existence, and know what you want, or don't want. That you can either decide to become the person you were always meant to be, by designing your life as best as possible."
